The Pearl River Valley Water Supply District, in cooperation with the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), conducted a Public Hearing to present and discuss the draft Environmental Assessment (EA) with Section 4(f) Evaluation for the proposed Bob Anthony Parkway Relocation Project, an east/west multimodal corridor to be located south of the dam of the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Madison, Rankin, and Hinds counties.
The purpose of this Public Hearing was to present the evaluated range of alternatives with the identified Preferred Alternative for the project and to solicit comments. The hearing was held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Rankin Reservoir Community Center, 2230 Spillway Road, Brandon, MS. Citizens were invited to come and go as they please during the hours of the meeting to view the district’s plans and exhibits, ask questions, and offer comments.
